Curriculums

General Interpretations 

  1. This curriculum is the appendix of the “Creator’s school, an individual’s educational order: media education”   author (state alternative) educational programme henceforth:  programme.
  2. Admittance to grades 10-12  is done with the corresponding grade learners having basic education and whose parents choose the Programme and sign a contract of education in an established order.
  3. Instruction in class is organized with electronic smart boards and electronic smart pens. Learners can be involved in the “Notebook is my classmate” programme at their parents’ choice.
  4. In public no specialized classes Learners’ density in the class is 20-25. Courses according to learners preferences are organized in groups of 12-15.
  5. The director of the Educomplex confirms the alterations in the orders of the curriculum interpretations when they are introduced by the educational program supervisor.
  6. The learner’s academic records and other necessary information are registered electronically in the established order.
  7. The academic year is organized with the yearly educational calendar of the Educomplex. Participation in granted camps, educational reviews, Educational Digitecs, media Olympiads, folk ceremonies and holidays is an obligatory educational activity.
  8. We have a 6-day school week. Saturdays are allocated for the organization of country studies, educational trips, educational social projects and further education.
  9. The school day begins with a 15-minute general morning training in an established order and programme. The organization of this training is part of the educational social project.
  10. The instruction is organized at school and at home with effective use of digital means. At home the learner has a computer attached to the Internet. At school the learners have a constant access to the Internet, computer, electronic smart board, digital audio recorder, digital camera and the cell phone. Assignments and their answers are also presented electronically.
  11. The learners and teachers are subscribers of the Educomplex  library. The library provides the learners and teachers with necessary teaching materials, teaching means and printed or digital books.  
  12. Visiting the school website and participation in its work is the learners’ obligatory educational work.
  13. Outdoor lessons are considered to be the realization of learners’ rights.
  14. Educational trips being realized in an established order, are components of different school subject courses. 
  15. The learners take part in the realization of projects intended for environment improvement. This is extracurricular work.
  16. The learners take part in the obligatory self-service work; maintaining of hygiene demands, taking care of educational territories and belongings. This is extracurricular work.
  17. The following foreign languages are taught at high school: Russian, English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Arabic, Georgian, Turkish and Persian.
  18. The sphere of knowledge “Mathematics, Informatics” is introduced with courses of “Geometry”, “Algebra and Elements of Mathematical Analyses” or with a form of  integrated course by including Informatics.
  19. The course of “Ecology” consists of separate contextual modules and is organized with practical work by using ICT. 
  20. “Social Science” consists of the following courses: aestheticism, ethic, religion, psychology, economics, law, political science, philosophy and sociology. 
  21. “Media technologies” consists of the courses “MS Office”, “Media Library”, “Photography”, “Audio Recording”, “Media Journalism” and is directed to the assimilation of digital technical means and computer programs operating them. The lessons are organized in the form of practical work with small groups.
  22. “Physical Culture, Pre-military Preparation and Vital safety activities” consists of sport team trainings chosen by learners, “First Aid”, “Healthy Style of Living”, “Civil Defence”, “Pre-Draftee’s Rights and Duties” and “Field Life”.
  23. In Grade 12 the learner can form an individual curriculum, out of the offered courses with 34 academic hours per week, meeting the subject standards and the minimum hours allocated to particular fields of study according to the basic curriculum of public education.
  24. For the courses of further education a contract with the learner’s parents is signed which is an appendix of the educational contract. The following courses of further education are provided: foreign languages (English, Georgian, Russian, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Persian, Arabic ), mathematics, technical creation, physics, chemistry, astronomy, ecology, film making and photo taking, computer graphics, applied computer programs, electronic smart board, piano, national musical instruments, vocal, dancing, fine art, sculpture, pottery, cutting and sewing (tailoring), carpet making, carpentry and metal work, florist’s work, cooking, chess, joining in sports (swimming, football, basketball, handball, volleyball, table tennis, art gymnastics, athletics ), dancing and other activities.     
  25. The execution of the curriculum and subject syllabuses is seen in the term reports of programme supervisors and the heads of educational centres as well as in the monthly reports of teachers and that of learners.  
  26. Different ways of evaluation are used which are brought to 10-point system. The evaluation is based on the individual or group work (self reviews, mid term and term reviews, fulfillment of distant tasks, investigating and creative work, work with educational website, social educational projects, educational trips, hikes of country studies, creative reviews, gatherings, Olympiads, media exhibitions, participation in festivals and monthly reports.) Other ways of evaluations may also be put in practice. The learner’s self control of educational activity and self reviews and presenting this sort of work by means of media is encouraged. The learner’s knowledge and skills in some subjects and courses are examined and evaluated by the examination center of the Educomplex. 
  27. The media material created as a result of everyday studies in class and at home is placed in the Educomplex website in an established order. They may also be published electronically or kept in the media library.
  28. The learners’ other work results are presented at demonstrations, exhibitions and creative gatherings.
  29. At the end of the school year 12-grade learners take final examinations in an order established by the Ministry of Science and Education.
